Full Job Description:

Off The Trail Vacation Rentals and Campground is looking for a highly organized candidate with excellent people skills. This candidate has a passion for giving outstanding customer service and can always greet people with a smile throwing out the red carpet for our lodging and campground guests. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and the ability to learn and manage reservation systems. A flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings and weekends is a requirement.

The best Customer Service Clerks have tremendous patience when dealing with guests by addressing their needs and questions with courteous enthusiasm.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed

  • Administering check-ins and check-outs

  • Completing all aspects of the check-in procedure for every guest, paying attention to every detail

  • Handling payments

  • Answering phones with a pleasant voice

  • Taking reservations on the phone

  • Maintain the record of guests that have checked in and out

  • Maintaining a clean and neat work environment

  • Being a source of information for guests on matters of lodging and area attractions

  • Accommodating general and unique requests

  • Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Amazing interpersonal abilities

  • Top-of-the-line organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once

  • Amazing time management skills

  • Incredibly detail oriented

 

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
